When to go?

The ideal time to visit the region is between June and October when temperatures are pleasant and rainfall is low.

In winter, the weather is cold, humid and low temperatures, but they remain globally positive. Precipitation is quite high in December and it is also important to know that it is not uncommon to see snow in the area this season.

The Chastel of Pommard

The Castel of Pommard is one of the most emblematic and most visited areas of the region. Founded in 1726, it has in its heart the Clos Marey-Monge, which for more than two thousand years, produces the most beautiful expressions of pinot noir. Registered since July 2015 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
