When to go?
The best time to visit this area is between May and September. The temperatures are pleasant and the rain is very little present. Although the weather may be wet in autumn, it is also a good time to visit the area.
However, On the other hand, the winter is quite cold and rainfall abundant, so this is not the period to privilege.
Open to the Atlantic Ocean and crossed by the last wild river in Europe, the Pays de la Loire region offers a varied heritage of the most interesting. The Puy du Fou is a MUST TO DO in France. It is a park offering various shows reverting the medieval period. Also, some villages has been reconstituted so you can be in total immersion. The Puy du Fou is a real opportuny to return back time and to travel next to knights and royalty.
