When to go?
The ideal time to visit this region is to go there in spring or summer, during which time the climate is favorable to walks, relaxation without the temperatures being stifling.
The hottest months are July and August, perfect for visiting the fabulous heritage of this region by inhabiting you in the freshness of a cathedral.
On the other hand, winter is a period in which it rains a lot and where temperatures are cold, if you decide to venture there, plan a scarf and a big coat!
A region rich in history and heritage, once admired by the kings of France, the Center-Val de Loire, located in the center of France as its name indicates, is now popular with visitors who come to discover its famous Renaissance châteaux, its charming villages and gastronomic specialties. A verdant destination suitable for walks also, where nature and the forest have their place. The mysterious Sologne with innumerable ponds, the Berry with the countryside landscapes, the immense forest of Orléans or the banks of the famous wild river inscribed on the world heritage of UNESCO. Numerous in the region, the sumptuous gardens in the French and English will not fail to make the happiness of the amateurs of plants of collection!
Church of Menoux
From outside the Church of Menoux resembles a very classical church. But if you step inside, the effect is striking: on 400 m2 of frescoes in flashy and detonating colors, Jorge Carrasco gives us his vision of the divine. This monumental work by the Bolivian artist in the 1970s is second to none!
