When to go?

If you want to visit this region, it is preferable to favor the months of May, June and July. Indeed, in summer the temperatures are warm but not suffocating. 

and the precipitation is moderate, the ideal time to enjoy the beaches of the North.

On the other hand, as of October, the weather tends to deteriorate and the rain reappears.

 

A welcoming and authentic country, mixing nature, culture and traditions, the Hauts-de-France region offers its visitors a wide range of discoveries and activities.For nature, varied landscapes await you, ranging from forests, bocage and cereal plains to the hortillonnages of Amiens, passing by the beaches and chalk cliffs of the littoral. Classified as Grand Site de France and a member of the very closed club of the most beautiful bays in the world, the famous baie de Somme is an ornithological paradise where you can admire an impressive colony of calf- sailors ! As for the built heritage, the cities of Art and History, with their many cultural and architectural treasures, the majestic belfries on the UNESCO World Heritage list, the marvelous castles, the famous Gothic cathedrals, and the festive and convivial atmosphere carnival of Dunkerque and the braderie of Lille, are all assets that make this northern region of France a destination full of attractions.
